Abstract
- In painting or sculpture, the presentation emphasizes a derived essential character
with little or no visual reference to objects in nature. Abstract Expressionism – A painting style in which the process is largely uncontrolled,
accidental, sometimes unthinking, automatic and direct. The painted surface becomes a record of the artist’s intense
experience with paint and color. The work of American artist Jackson Pollock
